I just returned home after a trip to New York.

The entire thing was magical, but one of my favorite moments was our visit to The Herb Lubalin Study Center of Design and Typography at Cooper Union.

It was here that we listened for 2 hours to the archive curator (Alexander Tochilovsky) discuss the history of over 50 items from their 10,000 item collection, sitting intimately around a small table in a basement room.

As part of this amazing afternoon, I got to hold actual mechanicals and prints by Herb Lubalin and Alvin Lustig. Truly an honor. Photographic proof below, courtesy of Daniel Eden!
